Case could bar coaches from praying with players | www.tennessean.com | The Tennessean

"'Every day when we finish practice, we take a knee, bow our heads and say the Lord's Prayer — every day. We don't miss a day,' Thompson said.

'Along with the Lord's Prayer at practice, we have a silent prayer before each game where I tell them to pray for themselves and their teammates.''

But a case making its way to the U.S. Supreme Court could prevent Thompson and other coaches of public schools from praying with their teams, even if the players initiate the prayer on their own.

School district policies and practices vary widely across Tennessee. In Metro Nashville, coaches and teachers are officially barred from taking part in student-led prayers, though some said they do so."

"A Florida-based evangelist says the Internal Revenue Service is burying him in endless, pointless paperwork to intimidate him into being silent on political issues."

He believes it's an intimidation tactic, one that enables the IRS to dodge a decision that could be challenged in court but still send a message: "If you talk about politics in the pulpit, we'll be on your back for the next five years."

Obama eyes intel pick tied to bin Laden

"JERUSALEM – The Obama administration's reported pick for a top intelligence post has financial ties to the infamous bin Laden family – including dealings after Sept. 11, 2001."

...Freeman's ties to the bin Laden family went beyond admiration and business. He served as president of the Middle East Policy Council, a Washington-based Saudi backed nonprofit that at time was receiving tens of thousands of dollars a year from the bin Laden family.

Also, Carmen bin Laden, a sister-in-law of Osama, told the German magazine Der Spiegel that the "Bin Ladens never disowned Osama; in this family, a brother remains a brother, no matter what he has done."

Freeman lauded Hamas as "is the only democratically-elected government in the Arab world and claimed the terrorist group "is showing that if we offer it nothing but unreasoning hostility and condemnation, it will only stiffen its position and seek allies among our enemies. In both cases, we forfeit our influence for no gain."

All we ever heard of the Bush administration was how VP Cheney had direct ties to Halliburton and their ambitions for the world! Will all the liberal conspiracy theorist come out against this? I'm not holding my breath, liberals are not intellectually honest...only power hungry and willing to do "whatever" to get it.

CBS: ‘Hardline’ Netanyahu May ‘Dim Hopes for Peace’ in Israel | NewsBusters.org

"...the Obama administration and its ambitious plans for ending 60 years of conflict between Israel and the Palestinians."

Amazingly, this new "messianic" President is claiming to have plans for "ending" the conflict that no other President or world leader could even "bring lasting peace" to over the last 60 years? Is this hubris speaking, or something more dark and unseen by the masses? Is this the "and he shall confirm a covenant" with Israel spoken of by the prophet Daniel?

PBSO Plans To Draw Blood At DUI Checkpoints - West Palm Beach News Story - WPBF West Palm Beach

"'I think that's really personal and I think that if you deny a Breathalyzer and you say that you don't want that, I think that's outrageous if they take blood without your consent,'"

The overall government pattern is: soft on crime in the courts, but increasingly invasive into every part of American lives, personal body and property. In the name of peace and safety they continue to take control over all things in America. Is this the land of the free and home of the brave, or a police state?

The Associated Press: Obama backs Bush: No rights for Bagram prisoners

"The Obama administration, siding with the Bush White House, contended Friday that detainees in Afghanistan have no constitutional rights.

'The hope we all had in President Obama to lead us on a different path has not turned out as we'd hoped,' said Tina Monshipour Foster, a human rights attorney representing a detainee at the Bagram Airfield. 'We all expected better.'"

In Karachi, Mohamed "received explosives and remote-controlled-detonator training from an al Qaida operative." An al Qaida operative also told Mohamed to go to the U.S. "to assistant in terrorist operations," the document states. He allegedly was planning to use a "dirty bomb."

Czech president compares EU to Soviet Union

"He said current EU practices smacked of communist times when the Soviet Union controlled much of eastern Europe, including the Czech Republic and when dissent or even discussions were not tolerated.

'Not so long ago, in our part of Europe we lived in a political system that permitted no alternatives and therefore also no parliamentary opposition,' said Klaus. 'We learned the bitter lesson that with no opposition, there is no freedom.'"

This is the absolute truth. There is "no freedom" when government, schools, workplaces, etc, permit "no alternatives" or "opposition". And this is exactly what the politically correct crowd is all about pushing here in America, as they do everyday.

A Hoosier Smoking Ban? What For? - by John Nothdurft - Heartland Perspectives

"Personal choice, market forces, and business logic already have made the proposed statewide smoking ban nothing more than another heavy-handed government regulation that will hurt the state's economy."

Smoking is the liberal's public enemy #1, but it's just a facade. It only servers as a means to make liberals look as if they are doing good things, and meanwhile they are continuing to grab as much political and legal power as they can. And that is to the disadvantage of all citizens.

Students: Change Boulder High name to Barack Obama High : Updates : The Rocky Mountain News

"We initiate this campaign in order to honor the momentous achievement of his election as an African-American, inspire the community with his ideals of unity and hope, and reflect the progressive spirit that is shared by both Barack Obama and our school environment," the Student Worker Club said in a press release today.

"A longtime social protest group, Student Worker's members made headlines in September 2007 by protesting the school's daily ritual of students voluntarily saying the Pledge of Allegiance when it's broadcast on the intercom.

Arguing that the pledge's reference to 'one nation, under God' violated the separation of church and state, a dozen members went to the school courtyard and read their own version of the pledge as 100 fellow students watched

'I pledge allegiance to the flag and my constitutional rights with which it comes. And to the diversity, in which our nation stands, one nation, part of one planet, with liberty, freedom, choice and justice for all,' the students declared.

At the time, then-club president Emma Martens e-mailed the Boulder Daily Camera: 'Boulder High has a highly diverse population, not all of whom believe in God, or One God.'"

The Student Worker members...? ...the teen activist said...?

I thought this was a high school...not a socialist, communist party camp? A "Student Worker's Club" in high school making "press" releases? I guess I was wrong, this is a commie camp...but this is Russia that we're talking about, right? Nevertheless, this is the smoking gun that socialist/communist have been over many years, and are today very active in our schools turning our little children into socialists working for the complete conversion of the US into a communist state. God help us.

US worried over prospect of right-wing gov't | Elections 2009 | Jerusalem Post

'We look forward to working with that new government once it's formed. We have a robust agenda with the government of Israel, as you know. And so we're looking forward to getting down to business with the new government.'"

So the Obama administration has a "robust agenda" for the Israeli government? Is this yet another sign of prophecy lining up to be fulfilled? Remember, we're looking for a man that will "confirm" a contract (covenant) with Israel and her enemies/enemy. A man of that brings "peace" and "security", but the end will be "destruction".
