The hypocrisy is stagering. An Arab gets shot by an Israeli security guard, and Arabs riot, seek to hurt and kill innocent Jews worshipping God at the Wailing Wall (what would happen if Jews attacked praying Arabs at a mosque?). Even though Jews are having to defend themselves hourly at checkpoints, on the streets, on buses, at schools-- well, everywhere. And when an Arab does kill a Jew, the Arabs rejoice in the streets and name buildings, schools and other things after the suicide-murderers. God is not blind to this evil. What the world is sowing against Israel and Christians suffering at the hands of unrelenting hatred and merciless forces, they will reap. God is just.

"The Legislature allows the attorney general to certify police agencies and commission officers at private, nonprofit colleges. The authority is not denied to schools 'originally established by or affiliated with religious denominations,' the law says."
The opinion pointed out Davidson is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), requires more than half of the trustees to be active members in the denomination and that the life of the president provide "evidence of strong Christian faith and commitment."
The school's statement of purpose says in part: "The Christian tradition to which Davidson remains committed recognizes God as the source of all truth, and believes that Jesus Christ is the revelation of that God, a God bound by no church or creed."

The American commentariat is shocked, shocked , to discover that Turkey has abandoned the Western alliance for an adventurous bid to become the dominant Muslim power in the Middle East. Tom Friedman of the New York Times suggested on June 15 that 'President [Barack] Obama should invite him for a weekend at Camp David to clear the air before US-Turkey relations get where they’re going - over a cliff.' Friedman blames the European Community for rejecting Turkey's membership bid which, he says, was a 'key factor prompting Turkey to move closer to Iran and the Arab world'."
