Russia and China announce new era of military cooperation - Times Online

"Russia and China announced plans for an intensified programme of military cooperation yesterday as part of a burgeoning “strategic partnership”.

As many as 25 joint manoeuvres will be staged this year in a demonstration of strengthening ties between Moscow and Beijing, Russia’s Defence Minister, Anatoly Serdyukov, said at a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Liang Guanglie."

"Only Russia and China can meet American challenge" | Politics from 2009-04-28 | RT

"Russia and China are the only ones “who can take the challenge of the U.S. in the military field”; others are unable to do it technically, says Ruslan Pukhov from Centre for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies."

U.S. regulatory czar nominee wants Net 'Fairness Doctrine'

"It's hard to imagine President Obama nominating a more dangerous candidate for regulatory czar than Cass Sunstein," he says. "Not only is Sunstein an animal-rights radical, but he also seems to have a serious problem with our First Amendment rights. Sunstein has advocated everything from regulating the content of personal e-mail communications, to forcing nonprofit groups to publish information on their websites that is counter to their beliefs and mission. Of course, none of this should be surprising from a man who has said that 'limitless individual choices, with respect to communications, is not necessarily in the interest of citizenship and self-government.' If it were up to Obama and Sunstein, everything we read online – right down to our personal e-mail communications – would have to be inspected and approved by the federal government."

Newsmax.com - DHS Chief Napolitano: Illegal Immigration Is Not a Crime

"Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano stunned many listeners during an appearance on CNN when she asserted that illegal immigration is really not a crime."

In an interview with CNN’s John King last week, Napolitano discussed Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Ariz., a strict enforcer of immigration laws who says he wants illegal aliens to be prosecuted and jailed.

King said: “A lot of Democrats in Congress want you to investigate him. They think he is over the line. He says he is just enforcing the law and the problem is the federal government.”

Same old lies and crimes of liberals...standing up for and defending criminals, anti-American and illegal actions while attacking law-abiding Americans!

Newsmax.com - Pelosi: Massive Climate Law Coming This Year

"Congress will pass legislation to stem global warming by year's end, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi vowed Tuesday, as hearings got underway on a bill to reduce US greenhouse gas emissions.

'We will pass legislation this year,' Pelosi told reporters."

Former vice president Al Gore, a major climate change campaigner, is set to testify Friday.

The looming battle in Congress promises to be a tough one, with Republicans and some Democrats from coal- or oil-producing states warning of potentially catastrophic economic impacts from setting limits on emissions of greenhouse gases blamed for global warming.

With no waiting for proof or a universal agreement, they rush to pass a bill that may very well crate "CATASTROPHIC ECONOMIC IMPACTS"? This is not wise at all! This is just another fear mongering of the the left to pass more anti-American laws!

Hackers stole data on Pentagon's newest fighter jet - CNN.com

"Thousands of confidential files on the U.S. military's most technologically advanced fighter aircraft have been compromised by unknown computer hackers over the past two years, according to senior defense officials."

In addition to files relating to the aircraft, hackers gained entry into the Air Force's air traffic control systems, according to the officials. Once they got in, the Internet hackers were able to see such information as the locations of U.S. military aircraft in flight.

Last month, a Pentagon annual report to Congress about China's military power said China has been making continued progress in developing cyber-warfare techniques.

The report noted that U.S. government computers were the target of "intrusions that appear to have originated" in China, although they were not confirmed to be from the Chinese military.

Killer 'green' bill to slaughter U.S. economy

With hearings in the House of Representatives on the Obama administration's energy and climate change agenda, credible opponents are voicing concern that a U.S. "green" policy may kill the economy, Jerome Corsi's Red Alert reports.

"Hackett attacked the Obama administration's cap-and-trade proposal that will be included in the bill to be before the House committee next week, calling the plan an indirect tax on individuals that would be as open to manipulation as the European model."

John Holdren, director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy told the group that, "The energy challenge we face is actually a more difficult challenge than putting a man on the moon was."

"We have to do things that pervade our whole economy," Holdren insisted, "not just of this country but around the world, in order to get it done to the degree that is required."

Filmmaker: 'Obama, Abraham Lincoln born Muslim'

"A new Islamic film being promoted on the Internet boasts that not only was President Barack Obama born Muslim, so was Abraham Lincoln, who emancipated the slaves and commanded Union soldiers to confront the seceding South."

"The 16th president of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, was born a Muslim.

According to the Quran, everybody is born a Muslim," he writes. "It is only by his own free will that a man chooses a different course for himself. In that Abraham Lincoln was not only a born Muslim but he chose to live by Islamic edicts like abolishing organized slavery; establishing equality of all human beings, democracy and accountability to God and man; core Islamic concepts as propounded in the Holy Quran."

"Such segregated Muslim communities are spreading throughout Europe at an alarming pace," Spencer writes.

He quoted Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, of the Muslim Brotherhood, who promised at a conference in Toledo, Ohio, "We will conquer Europe, we will conquer America. … Not through sword but through Da'wa (Islamic proselytizing]."

"If Western Europe does become Islamized, as demographic trends suggest, before too long America will be facing a world that is drastically different and more forbidding than today. And the same process of Islamization will proceed here – unless enough people wake up in time to head it off," Spencer's book warns.

House votes on 'hate crimes' bill

"The U.S. House Judiciary Committee will vote tomorrow on a 'hate crimes' bill that some say might allow federal officials to prosecute Christians who speak out against homosexual behavior."

"The federal government must have authority to be involved in investigating and prosecuting these crimes when state authorities cannot or will not do so."

"H.R. 1913 is a backdoor tool from the far left and radical homosexuals to shut down legitimate free speech from Christians and others who oppose their lifestyle," King said. "It is political payback from the new administration to the homosexual lobby, and could have radical ramifications."

But King noted that pastors in Europe and Canada have already been arrested for preaching against homosexuality based on similar legislation.

WND has also reported that the Obama administration has stated its dedication to strengthening "federal hate crimes legislation" and expanding "hate crimes protection."

King said Christians are acting like the proverbial frog in a slowly heating kettle that boils to death.

"They need to wake up and take action to oppose this threat to religious liberty."

Are you licensed to reload that ammo?

President Obama, who supported the handgun ban in Washington, D.C., before it was tossed by the Supreme Court, since his election has watched various proposals to ban "assault" weapons, require handgun owners to submit to mental health evaluations

"'If you reload your own ammo you may find yourself engaged in 'Illicit Manufacturing' of ammunition under an arms control treaty that President Obama started pushing last week in Mexico.'"

"The section … clearly identifies ammo reloaders that are not licensed by the government as 'Illicit Manufacturers' of ammunition.

"If ratified and the U.S. is found not to be in compliance with any provisions of the treaty – such as a provision that would outlaw reloading ammunition without a government license – President Obama would be empowered to implement regulations without congressional approval," he wrote.

"If the kind of 'change' that Obama wants is for the United States to take its marching orders from third world countries regarding our gun rights, we're in big trouble!"

Pentagon pick: Bush 'mindlessly' supported Israel

"While President Bush was 'blindly' and 'mindlessly' supportive of Israel, President Obama may be less willing to give the Jewish state 'blank checks,' says Rosa Brooks"

Brooks urged: "It's time for the United States to wake up from its long slumber and reengage – forcefully – with the Middle East peace process. Only the U.S. – Israel's primary supporter and main financial sponsor – can push it to make the hard choices."

New law to 'manage' 8 million 'volunteers'

"President Obama today signed into law the 'GIVE Act,' H.R. 1388, which expands massively the National Service Corporation and allocates to it billions of dollars, and one executive for the program now says it will allow for the 'managing' of up to eight or nine million people."

He said the possibility with the expanded authorization and funding means that up to eight or nine million could be involved.

Congress also is considering a "public service academy, a four-year institution that offers a federally funded undergraduate education with a focus on training future public sector leaders."

"We hope sooner or later this will be a part of every citizen's experience," he said.

"But members pressed into the service of the one million-strong Youth Brigade, sanctioned by 'Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education (GIVE),' will have none of the freedoms of the community organizer who started it all.

Hitler knew that if you control the youth, you control the future. I wrote about him in 'The Threats to Homeschooling: From Hitler to the NEA.' As I noted in that article, Hitler said: 'The Youth of today is ever the people of tomorrow. For this reason we have set before ourselves the task of innoculating our youth with the spirit of this community of the people at a very early age, at an age when human beings are still unperverted and therefore unspoiled,'" he wrote.

'How hate crimes laws forced me into exile'

"And several organizations are reporting Congress could begin adopting measures similarly draconian to Brazil's as early as this week.

'It is imperative that we contact all members of the House and demand that they vote against this bill as it will not protect a pastor, Bible teacher, Sunday School teacher, youth leader or anyone else from prosecution if he or she teaches against homosexuality if an individual who hears their message then goes out and commits a crime against a homosexual,' wrote Pastor Rick Scarborough of Vision America Action, which as a website link to make that contact."

Experts: Obama biofuel policy boosts world hunger

"The Obama administration's policy of producing ethanol as a renewable fuel substitute for gasoline will add to the number of people in Third World countries who are chronically hungry, according to energy experts.

The administration's mandates for the use of ethanol are 'immoral,' asserts Robert Bryce, managing editor of the monthly industry magazine Energy Tribune.

'We are burning food to make motor fuel at a time when there's a growing global shortage of food and no shortage of motor fuel,' Bryce told WND.

'The corn ethanol scam is not an energy program,' he continued. 'It is a massive farm subsidy program masquerading as an energy program.'"

Pastors' right to talk about Jesus threatened

A case in which two preachers, including an American, were arrested for talking in public about Jesus will be appealed to the European Court of Human Rights, according to a law firm working on the case.

"'It's ironic,' he told WND at the time. 'Here's Norway celebrating a day of freedom and independence and the cops walk right by a true criminal. They can't see him.'"

CNN reporter refers to Hitler as Bush 'lookalike'

CNN reporter Susan Roesgen
"While CNN reporter Susan Roesgen became obviously upset when a Tax Day tea partier compared President Obama to Hitler, she showed no such concern when a protester did the same to President Bush in 2006.

'You know, what is this supposed to mean?' she asked an April 15 tea partier with an agitated tone as she pointed to his anti-Obama poster.

'What do you mean by that?' she demanded, jabbing at his Obama-Hitler representation.

The protester responded, 'He's a fascist.'

'Why do you say he's a fascist?' She asked. 'He's the president of the United States. Do you realize how offensive that is?'"

While Roesgen was clearly upset with the Obama-Hitler comparison, another video shows she unflinchingly referred to a Hitler mask as a President Bush "lookalike" in 2006.

In a Jan. 13, 2006, CNN clip Roesgen reported on another protest during President Bush's administration.

"They and their teachers say more money is needed to fix the levies and they hope the president would stop by after his meeting with business leaders," Roesgen said in a voiceover. "But while a lookalike showed up with a wad of cash, Mr. Bush did not."

She referenced the following paper-mache mask of President Bush with a Hitler haircut and mustache:

"Cable television news network CNN has attempted to block a video on YouTube.com that shows 'tea party' protesters in Chicago confronting the network's reporter Susan Roesgen over her allegedly biased and 'not fair' coverage of the event."

"Obviously we hit a nerve with CNN because they forced YouTube to pull the video down, along with all of the comments people posted,"

Obama will 'quickly' give Palestinians state

"TEL AVIV, Israel – President Obama will move to create a Palestinian state 'more quickly than anybody could imagine.' At least that's the message the Palestinian Authority claims it received from the U.S."

Said the PA negotiator: "They (the U.S. team) told us, 'We don't mind who is the government in Israel. Things will be closed (for a Palestinian state) and more quickly than anybody could imagine."

Following scores of denials he would trumpet the plan, Obama in January hailed the Arab initiative, which offers normalization of ties with the Jewish state in exchange for extreme Israeli concessions. In an interview with an Arab television network – his first formal interview as president – Obama stated:

Palestinians have long demanded the "right of return" for millions of "refugees," a formula Israeli officials across the political spectrum warn is code for Israel's destruction by flooding the Jewish state with millions of Arabs, thereby changing its demographics.

Hamas wins another election

"Earlier this week, Palestinian students at the West Bank's Barzeit University held elections for the student council parliament. Hamas scored 22 seats, while PA President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah organization garnered 24, according to final results provided to WND yesterday. Another five seats went to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine."

Questions about Couric get filmmaker cuffed

"The producer of the film 'Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected' was handcuffed and thrown off the campus of the University of Southern California for asking questions outside the hall where network anchor Katie Couric was to receive an award for her role in the presidential campaign."

Filmmaker John Zeigler went to the USC campus where Couric was given the Cronkite award this week by the Annenberg journalism school

If you can't beat 'em, bad-mouth 'em?

"Yesterday, anchors for MSNBC and CNN repeatedly used a sexually suggestive term commonly associated with homosexual sex to deride the 'tea party' theme adopted by hundreds of thousands of U.S. citizens protesting a federal government they say is grabbing more authority, spending more money and proposing to collect more taxes than ever before.

GOV. DAVID PATERSON INTRODUCES GAY MARRIAGE BILL - New York Post

"Gov. Paterson introduced legislation today to legalize same-sex marriage -- vowing to bring 'equality to everyone' in New York.

'This is a civil rights issue,' said Paterson, likening the issue to the struggle of African-Americans to earn equality.

'We have pretended for far too long that [gay couples] have the same rights.'"

Funny how the media fails to mention leaders are Democrats when it's a controversial issue, but never miss an opportunity to assign "Republican" to any story to harm non-democrats!

Obama at Georgetown: The mystery of the missing sign - Belief Blog - Washington Times

"When President Obama gave his economics speech at Georgetown University on Tuesday, several folks noticed something was missing.

That 'something' was an ancient monogram -- the letters IHS -- that symbolizes the name of Jesus. It was missing from a wooden archway above the dais in Gaston Hall where the president delivered his 45-minute speech."

It is more for camera quality than anything else," he surmised. "They don't want distractions that would make the eye wander. I don't think this is motivated by theology, but by communications strategy

He'll go to Islamic places of worship and give speeches there, but won't stand under or onstage with the name of Jesus Christ or anything that represents it? I thought he was a Christian, and not a Muslim like many feared, and believed? Christians want to give glory and honor to Christ, not hide art or signs that might pull attention away from themselves (which is the opposite of giving glory to God= taking all the attention and focus for self).

'As a scientist and engineer now serving my 17th year on the House Armed Services Committee, I have studied the threat of EMP with the world's experts,' said U.S. Rep. Roscoe Bartlett. 'It is real.'"

"A high-altitude EMP results from the detonation of a nuclear warhead at altitudes above 25 miles over the Earth's surface, and covers the area within line-of-sight from the bomb. The immediate effects of EMP are disruption of, and damage to, electronic systems that are indispensable to the operation of critical national infrastructures – the electric power grid, wired and cell telephone systems, fuel handling, land and air transportation, government operations, banking and finance, food storage and distribution, and water treatment and supply – that sustain our economy, military power and civilian population."

Why call Americans 'extremists?' DHS asked

"The Thomas More Law Center of Ann Arbor, Mich., says it has filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the Department of Homeland Security demanding why it calls Americans who oppose abortion, support 2nd Amendment gun rights and dislike lax immigration law enforcement 'extremists.'

'This is not an intelligence report but a diatribe against those who oppose the policies of the Obama administration,' said Richard Thompson, president and chief counsel for the organization."

"It is a declaration of war against the American people and our constitution. It is a prelude to extreme gun control legislation and hate speech laws targeting Christian churches and others who oppose abortion and same sex marriage," he continued. "The federal government should be focusing its attention on the 35 radical Muslim compounds in the U.S. training its followers on how to kidnap and kill Americans."

Napolitano stands by controversial report - Washington Times

"Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Wednesday that she was briefed before the release of a controversial intelligence assessment and that she stands by the report, which lists returning veterans among terrorist risks to the U.S.

But the top House Democrat with oversight of the Department of Homeland Security said in a letter to Ms. Napolitano that he was 'dumbfounded' that such a report would be issued.

'This report appears to raise significant issues involving the privacy and civil liberties of many Americans - including war veterans,"

Rick Perry: Tea party darling - Andy Barr - POLITICO.com

"Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s star is rising among a new constituency — the anti-tax “tea party” crowd — in the wake of his recent endorsement of a Texas state House resolution affirming the state’s sovereignty.

The resolution urges that “all compulsory federal legislation that directs states to comply under threat of civil or criminal penalties or sanctions or that requires states to pass legislation or lose federal funding be prohibited or repealed.”

The Republican governor’s public embrace of that language — a thinly veiled reference toward the conditions set by the Obama administration’s financial stimulus package — and his efforts to reject some of the stimulus funds have made him popular among the big government opponents who attended Wednesday’s “tea party” events across the nation.

“I believe that returning to the letter and spirit of the U.S. Constitution and its essential 10th Amendment will free our state from undue regulations, and ultimately strengthen our Union,” the governor said. “I believe that our federal government has become oppressive in its size, its intrusion into the lives of our citizens, and its interference with the affairs of our state.”"

UNC students protested a speaker who opposes illegal immigrants in schools. - 4/15/09 - Raleigh News - abc11.com

"Tom Tancredo didn't make it through his talk. In fact, he left campus early after protesters interrupted his speech and broke a window.

Protesters who weren't allowed into the room where the speech was being given gathered outside the door and chanted, 'There's no debate, no space for hate.'"

Where is the openness and fairness that liberals long have cried for as the way for all opinions and dissent? Notice how everything the liberals don't like they claim is "hate". Now "hate", just like "racism", in America and political platforms throughout the Western world is simply hijacked by and for the leftist agenda!
