"Gov. Paterson introduced legislation today to legalize same-sex marriage -- vowing to bring 'equality to everyone' in New York.
'This is a civil rights issue,' said Paterson, likening the issue to the struggle of African-Americans to earn equality.
'We have pretended for far too long that [gay couples] have the same rights.'"
Funny how the media fails to mention leaders are Democrats when it's a controversial issue, but never miss an opportunity to assign "Republican" to any story to harm non-democrats!
